School Out Camping Vietnam 12 Days
School out camping Vietnam is a field trip specially designed for students/pupils who want to experience a campfire on an islet, kayak on a beautiful lake, learn about nature, geography, culture and lifestyle of locals. This school tour is also included community services, some meaningful activities, which helps students/pupils enrich their knowledge and benevolence.
Day 1: Hanoi arrival (D)
Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam. Transfer you to your hotel for checking in. A welcome dinner is awaiting you and your students/pupils. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi city tour – Workshop (B/L)
Morning, visit some best places of Hanoi such as Ho Chi Minh complex, Temple of Literature. Lunch in Koto restaurant where food is served by disadvantaged youth in Vietnam. Afternoon, we will have a workshop with Vietnamese students. Your students/pupils will have a chance to make friend with Vietnamese peers, exchange culture via some interesting playground.
Overnight in Hanoi
Day 3: Hanoi – Trekking in Cuc Phuong National Park (B/L/D)
If you want your students/pupils learn about nature, we recommend Cuc Phuong National Park where is the habitat of several endangered species and a wide range of flora. A day trekking in this rain forest offer an educational trip in a beautiful space. We visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center and learn about animal protection, explore the park’s 7,000-year-old cave, ancient trees and cascading waterfalls
Overnight in Ninh Binh
Day 4: Hoa Binh – Campfire (B/L/D)
After breakfast, drive to Hoa Binh. We will get on a boat for a short trip along the lake, visit Hoa Binh hydro power, learn about the process of creating electricity. Have lunch with local food. Disembark on an islet, students/pupils will have a short break before going around to collect firewood for the campfire at night. A small group will take charge of tenting. An exciting campfire with food prepare by themselves, live music and bamboo dancing (a local traditional dance)
Overnight on islet. (Remember clean up the venue to protect the environment)
Day 5: Hoa Binh – Hanoi – fly to Hue (B/L)
Today is time for kayaking on the lake, discover Thac Bo cave. Afternoon, drive back to Hanoi, transfer directly to the airport for the flight to Hue. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue city tour (B/L)
Visit Imperial City, Thai Hoa palace, learn about Vietnamese history and discover the impressive architecture. Embark a boat cruising along Perfume, visit Thien Mu pagoda, learn about Vietnamese religious, visit tombs of Nguyen Kings.
Overnight in Hue.
Day 7: Hue – Hoi An (B/L)
Morning drive to Hoi An. Afternoon, we will join a half day lantern making class where students learn about a traditional handicraft in Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Option: A cooking class instead of lantern making class
Day 8: Hoi An – fly to Ho Chi Minh city (B/L)
Morning, we visit some attraction of Hoi An such as Tan Ky ancient house, Japanese Covered Bridge. Afternoon, transfer to the airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Free time to discover the city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city
Day 9: Ho Chi Minh – SOS village (B/L)
Today, we will visit SOS village where is the home of more than disadvantage children. Visit here, you can meet them, interact with them, play with them. Some activities we can do such as: donate school supplies, teach children here English, join a football game with them, … So your students/pupils will learn about the benevolence.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city
Day 10, 11: HCMC – Mekong delta homestay (B/L/D)
A trip to Mekong delta is the chance to discover the life on water interface. Students could be stimulated by the way people here use boats as an effective vehicle to do business and see floating houses. A biking tour to visit local factories where produce coconut candy, rice noodle or rice paper, … And the highlight of this trip is one night homestay, students/pupils will be welcome by friendly host families, join their daily life activities.
Come back Ho Chi Minh city in day 12.
Day 12: HCMC departure (B)
Free until the car transfer you to the airport for departure flight home. Hope you and your students have a memorable school trip in Vietnam. See you!
